I read the book with an open mind, beginning to follow the exercises immediately upon reading the first chapter.I instantly began to feel uplifted. It could just be that my class isn't well suited for it, but I think the information regarding insights is hard to really grasp. Goethe visited himCasanova deeply believed in God and his faith sustained him. It's an OK read---not the best biography I have read by a long shot---but the primary reason I would urge people NOT to read it is because it is out of date. I loved the original book, Dragons Can Only Rust as a wholly unique story in a strange world. The children see none of this and are spoonfed idealistic stories about the nobility of their family line and the Divine right by which their family rules.
