I'll be getting every book this guy ever writes in the future. Breeding's anti drugging stance, because almost every child I have ever seen be placed on medication perform poorly socially, academically, and emotionally in the long run. As an experienced group therapist with training and supervision, don't know how I missed this book which is 20 years old!The writer is well known in group therapy field. Chose these readers for 6 year old who was having trouble with reading. Part II describes a theory of the evolution of the human brain and mind, and why we are more vulnerable than animals to trauma's effects.
