Excellent book.. I was told to read this book with an open mind. One of my biggest complaints with many vegetarian and vegan cookbooks is that they often call for weird ingredients and i have to run to the store and purchase a bunch of different things just to try one recipe. I would highly recommend it.. Some of the advice includes avoiding the "infidels" in the department who might be troublemakers, not drinking and drugging excessively, and some other delightfully quaint advice that makes the author sound like he was raised in the 1880's.Overall, a good introduction to fixture design, but those looking to make a career out of designing tools, dies and fixtures will definitely want to supplement this text with some more up to date information.A solid 4 star book if it's regarded purely as an introduction to the wonderful world of design engineering.. required college book--enjoying it.
